As visitors get engrossed in solving this puzzle, they'll notice the little things that might have otherwise been missed: a camoflagued moth, the way the artist used their brushstrokes, or a unique hieroglyphic... the possibilities are endless.
Puzzle pieces are made of extremely durable hardwood maple laminated with magnetic sheet. Image is direct-printed onto the wood and protected with an additional clear coat layer. Woodgrain may show in finished product.
Our puzzle pieces and frames feature locally-sourced, natural materials that support New England-based businesses and manufacturers. We strive for sustainability and supporting small economies, as well as the use of safer materials for the sake of young visitors.
Our puzzles are built with young children in mind, so we're focused on designing for durability, safety, and cleanliness. Your image is printed directly on hardwood puzzle pieces, which are rounded on the edges and coated for added strength. We minimize sharp edges and tight corners that can cause safety hazards and cleaning headaches. All of our exhibits are floor-tested in a local museum for multiple weeks to ensure these standards are met.
